Knitting is our core skill. It has been our source of livelihood for many decades. Having grown older, we realized our country had only a handful of knitters.
What we have always wanted to do was to pass on our skills to a younger generation. Knit textiles are incredibly versatile and are used across various industries and applications. Their flexibility, elasticity, and ability to conform to shapes make them uniquely suited for many purposes. Knit Textiles are not only for use in fashion apparel but also in sportswear and as material for undergarments. Our brand Allena also makes scarves and other accessories such as bags and hats.
We have produced beautiful fabrics durable for bed and table runners as well as soft blankets and throws. Innovative 3 dimensional spacer fabrics have been used as medical textiles as compressions and bandages as well as automotive seat covers. Other industrial possibilities for knit textiles are as geotextiles and filtration meshes.
